We believe and confess that Jesus Christ is our divinely ordained mediator between God and man. Taking upon Himself human nature, yet without sin, He suffered and died on the cross for the salvation of sinners. He was buried, rose again on the third day, and ascended to the Father, at whose right hand He lives forever to intercede for His people. He is the sole mediator, Prophet, Priest, and King of His Church.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
Hebrews 8:6 “But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better...”
